The Silver Rule...

DO NOT do unto others as you would not have them do unto you.

Many a times, people like to use "逼不得已", or "I don't have a choice" to cover up for themselves.

You know, you realize, you excute. I think that 99.9% of the time, it is an overused excuse.

Eventually, we will all reap what we sow.

Was supposed to help my sis' fren out in Maths. Kinda funny and a lil' surprised. I WAS a lil' late...Hahaha...'She' was too...

But the 'she' turned out to be 'they'...which i only knew on the day itself O.o..Think my sis' fren told me another one was joining also, but i coveniently assumed it to be my sister..hohoho

I knew i would be late, so i enlisted Miss Jeremia's help, to 迎接my guests...But, that turned out to be a mis-comm..and our poor Jeremia ended up waiting for about...er...more than 30 mins...at the desginated bus stop. SOOOOO TOUCHED...

But then again, he told me his phone was dying...And it did! Just as my guests reached their destination...Oh great! None knew who the other was, (partly my fault, i showed Jeremia to my sis' fren in FULL make up...)

So my dear guests went around asking people if their name was Jerry.

I caught one of their conversation when they called me...

Fren: "How does your fren look like?"
Me: "Er..He is big and chunky...Very obvious..Speaks with a slength.."
Fren: "Ok, i see 2 people here...1 dark and 1 chinese.."
Me: "Oh, maybe is the chinese...You could ask him if he is Jerry??"
Hears "are you jerry?" in the background.
Fren: "No leh, he is not Jerry..."
Me: "Then you wait for me to come n pick u guys..."

Fortunately, i found Jeremia's original photo and mmsed her. But little did i know that the "Are you jerry?" game went on for a few times. While strangers smiled, they must be laughing their heads out deep beneath that smile! While my intelligient fren located Jeremia AT LONG LAST, he was late for his meeting, and i feel terribly sorry about that...Heeheee

Yupz. In the end, whole session took 2 hours plus, and plus a lil' help from Mr. Soh.

Last semester of mugging...

This semester, marks the last semester of my formal education. Nonetheless, learning continues. Just when i have some time, probably i should write down some 感言(is that the right word?).

1. Dogs sometimes make better soulmates than humans do.

I have never felt this so strongly previously. Perhaps some eye opener for a sheltered student. Over the years, I make good friends. People whom you would consider neighbourhood. My class had been a good experience, which i don't think i can really meet once i go out to work. And of course, some funny friends. Needless to say, some disappeared without a trace...It's a pity...遗憾啊... Lost is the value in the frenship.

2. Eyebags.

Too xiong for me le. I just told my fren, "i think i am in the wrong course. But i am taking 4 years to realize that". A pity that i did not do myself justice, for all the wrong turns i made. But who learns without failing? A pity again, that society does not tolerate failures. Jia you ba!

3. Nonchalence.

I fathom that being indifferent could make life easier. But is that what i want?

4. Mistresses.

Heehee...this is crap. Something similar to friends. Except that i realize i connect with my girlfrens (some) in a different way, as the heading suggest. For that matter, Mr. Soh is nicknamed my "smokescreen". Sounds childish? What's life without a little spice? Alas, some come and go. Kinda sad huh..

5. K box.

Influenced by Mr. Flealix, i started to go K after we were in the same IA company. I used to think that k-box was a dark and naughty place! But nowadays, he is refusing to sing duets with me. Think is because i am not a guy...Haiz..

6. Lecturers.

I have nicknames for most lecturers that taught me. Unforgetable is 爷爷, a amiable grandpa with a senile yet friendly outlook, 眼屎教授, 罚先生, both whom are equally terrifying, 杨爸爸...and a whole host of PhDs i met during my project. Hohoho...

7. All other nonsense i learnt throughout the course.

As someone said, perhaps what's impt is ur Safety, Health and Environment. 5% of everything. Thanks. =.=

Most of the time, i will write what i want, and then think of a title for my entry...

Currently drinking some funny (yucky) vegetable "soup" and listening to "Home" by Michael Buble...

"Let me go home oooooooooooooooooooooo...
I'm just too far, from where u are...
I wanna come homeeeeeeeee"

Yesterday the telecom uncle came to our house. Heehee, i could say that my house was a little messy (that's an understatement), and i felt kinda paisei. I happened to be killing pigs in maple story and picking up pig heads when i realized uncle is a Malay...

That wasn't the main point anyway. I just tot that uncle was quite fun. I tried to remove some things which i tot blocked his way.

Then he said "No need la..No need...No need...can reach can..ahhh"

Me: "Uncle u want some water?"
Uncle: "Can also la. Never drink, also very thirsty ah..."

Yupz yupz, and he fixed our noisy phone lines. Thanks!

Some grouses:

Getting really sick of taking public transport. I find that the incidence of having 30 minutes waits are increasing. Arghh...And many a times, i am carrying quite a lot of things (Just like an auntie...sigh)...Eh...All these with fare hikes?! Very irritating you know...zzz...Defnitely hope they do something about it.

------
First week of school as a sec 1...

and My cousin is sick! Kudos to her secondary school. If given a chance, i would NEVER wanna go back to secondary school in present time. It's...you know, kinda gruelling. Gone were the days where you bum out of school at 1 o'clock straight on 4 out of 5 days. Her schooling hours end at 2 plus, 3 plus, on normal days and 6 on Friday. Back then (about 7 years), my only late day was on Tuesday...My poor baby...Boo Hoo...And wednesday was usually earlier than 1, and I would go home for a nap.

Sometimes, i really wonder, if all the measures taken up by schools are necessary. With the cat and dog race going on so young in life, things are getting more draggy and tedious. Is our education system having a face lift, or are the changes intensifying the race under disguise of a more flexible curriculum?

Come on. This is only the first week. Students are not slaves. They got to have time for themselves. Not just moulded to get the A's the schools need for their awards. Driving them too hard may just backfire. But then again, what's different?

With the reduced curriculum, are there still so many things to teach?
