2 nitemares..
It started with doey in maple land, set in her grandparent's room...
With the ticking of each second,
the talmore in each cell shrinks further...
She knew time was running out...
yet all she could do,
was to hope against all hope,
in need of a miracle.
Grief and sorrow was all she felt,
the heart like a sinking stone...
The time came, the time to let go...
the passing of her grandfather...
As she watch him lie on the floor,
(she had forbidden him to lie on her granmdmother's bed)
she saw him draw his last few breaths...
She held his hand,
and told him to be good in his next life,
wherever it might be.
Unbearable was the sight before her,
when she could no long endure,
the channel she changed,
then came the thundering news from her sister,
that he no longer breathed his air.
SHe quickly switched back,
in a bid to see his grandfather,
and as she did,
she took one more glance.
Reality, cruel as it seemed,
drew her back to her bed.
There she lied,
in the middle of the long stormy night.
Overcome by grief she finally cried.
Rapid sobs she tried to soothe,
but all she had were hot, lava flowing tears.
Then came the realization,
of so many snapshots,
of his love, and the time together when she was young.
So painful was his death to her,
for she couldnt bear to part...
Such was the sorrow,
getting deeper with each thought...
By now her face was washed with tears,
her nose choked.
Awake no one she thought,
and luckily she did.
For she could not imagine,
the shock on their faces
seeing a tearful soul in the midst of dawn.
She calmed herself down,
in the hope of a better night.
She closed her eyes,
the grief slowly fading...
And she was in for another fright...
------------------------
There she was, in a supermarket,
where a series of murders took its toil...
Victims young and old...
dead in their awful sort.
The disgruntled souls,
and the murderer they sought.
There she was, amongst her classmates,
wondering who the next victim would be.
suddenly the lights dimmed
and the predator sprang...
A ear was lost,
whose owner no one knew.
Then came the test, a florescent test,
in a bid to identify the merciless soul.
which ended in a futile,
for she drifted away, even before the story itself,
to another place.
There she found herself in a lift,
in the block she lived.
Strange as it seemed,
the lift originated from the terminal of a budget airline,
which looked more dilapidated then she thought.
Then she was trapped,
in that old creaky lift.
Which later rose to 13th floor,
though the building only spanned 10 floors.
Then she awoke,
in the comfort of daylight.
The clock read 1022,
and she could no longer sleep.
To her blog she thought,
recalling all she went through...
via this long and troubled post.
