The good old fairy tales...

I remember the last 2 times i tried to blog, first was on some DNA test, which unfortunately, the coding didn't turn out well...the second time, blogspot was under some maintenance...

Just today, i heard a song on some castle, reminiscent of a fairytale..hey fairy tales...how they amazed me since young...dat reminds me of a dream...

I dreamt, i was a ninja...some ninja, capable to teleporting here and there...using some hand gesture...i was on a rescue mission, to save my frens trapped in a room...i was able to climb like spider man...and when i found the place where they were held captive, i tried teaching them the teleporting skill...but somehow, they din manage to learn it...i tried to demonstrate to them, and ended up teleporting myself away instead...i reached a city, that looked like tokyo...instinct told me they were trying to escape by sawing open the window in e room...while things went on smoothly, and a small hole had been sawn, the captivators emerged..went into the room, and tried to stop them from escaping...Coincidentally, just at that point, everyone mastered the teleporting skill...and they managed to escape...to the city i teleported myself to...and we all met up...after which, i woke up...haa...it was 12.50 pm and the sun was shinning bright at my backside...zzz

Fairy tales...when i was young, i often fantasize on living happily ever after...as i grew older, i liked to read fables...the deepest impression that has left upon me is how when faced with 3 treasure chest, gold, silver and that of bronze, the one which looked the lousiest would often give the "best" treasure...I was quite sure that if i was one of the characters in the story, i would definitely choose the correct box, which would give me the best treasure...

But as we grow older, i wonder how our thinking modifies...Would i, if faced with the 3 chests again, choose the chest for its glamour? Or would i be simply content with a simple bronze chest? Sometimes, i wonder, dont the the versions of chest represent our priorities in life?

Interesting dream...

Fairy tales... Perhaps they sum up what we all want in life - to live happily ever after. Of course, that means different things for each of us. And while the leads in the tales are so sure of their decisions, and when they finally triumph, it all seems so obvious, real life unfortunately is less so. This groping around in the darkness... surviving on a diet of hope...

As I grow older... knowing more makes me know much less...
